This month we explore the world of ancient Egypt. In November 1922 Howard Carter first encountered the tomb of the pharaoh Tutankhamen. The treasures that Carter found in the tomb have fascinated people ever since they were first displayed. The artifacts found there and at many other sites have allowed archaeologists to learn a great deal about the ancient world.
